Mains Risk Prioritisation System (MRPS) Training 2 - Day Course

Course Overview

This course is aimed at relevant personnel who require training to complete on site-surveys of gas mains in support of the Mains Risk Prioritisation System (MRPS).

The course will build on practical experience that the surveyor has gained from carrying out a minimum of 7 days on site training with an experienced MRPS surveyor (essential).

The course aims to give the surveyor the knowledge to choose the correct surveying technique in a variety of scenarios. This will mainly be done in the field using predetermined scenarios.

A good knowledge of mathematics and some basic map reading skills are essential for the course.
